These new business opportunities also present the chance—and challenge—of building new data-driven teams that place the consumer at the center of our decisions. **About the Team:** This team is responsible for delivering capabilities and new features for digital video. It contributes to the evolution of Globo’s CDN (Content Delivery Network) reach, live video encoding for broadcast TV, enabling digital distribution—including DTV+ (TV 3.0). It also strives to deliver the best user experience during video consumption via the video player and dynamic ad insertion (DAI). **Diversity:** We create environments where everyone is included, welcomed, and valued. We strive to make Globo increasingly diverse—in representation and thinking—learning from one another and fostering creativity and innovation. **Work Model:** Hybrid — **locations with Globo offices (RJ, SP, BH, POA, BSB, or Recife).** **Responsibilities and Duties** **Your Day-to-Day Will Include:** * Participating in and contributing to technical and business planning; * Supporting the technical growth of team members through mentoring; * Writing and publishing technical documentation for the team and department; * Pair programming with other team members when developing features; * Proactively identifying and acting upon emerging opportunities; * Contributing to both technical and business growth within the team and department; * Maintaining lightness and effective communication; * Demonstrating commitment and engagement when facing challenges; * Applying and upholding best practices in software development; * Collaborating effectively within a team; * Performing deployments via pipelines. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What You Need:** Minimum five years of experience developing backend applications **Experience With:** * Go programming language; * Design and architecture of distributed, scalable systems; * Software engineering (SOLID principles, design patterns, etc.); * Observability (Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, ELK, New Relic, Datadog, etc.); * Technical decision documentation; * Writing unit, functional, and integration tests; * Container virtualization solutions (Docker); * Container orchestration solutions (Kubernetes); * Databases (SQL and NoSQL); * Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). **Standout Knowledge:** * Experience with web servers / reverse proxy systems (Nginx or Apache); * Knowledge of Lua; * Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) knowledge (Terraform); * Knowledge of Unix and operating systems in general (terminal, network stack, etc.); * Experience in mentoring and developing others technically. **Additional Information** **Why Join Globo:** Come and let’s build stories and technologies together.
