We are hiring a Kitchen Supervisor to lead processes and ensure excellence at Hiper Economize Restaurant. **Job Summary:** Responsible for coordinating and supervising daily kitchen activities, ensuring quality, hygiene, smooth operation of processes, and compliance with standards established by the Head Chef and restaurant management. **Main Responsibilities:** * Supervise and guide the kitchen team in daily tasks related to food preparation, assembly, and finishing of dishes. * Ensure adherence to recipes, technical sheets, and quality standards defined by the Head Chef. * Monitor the usage and inventory of supplies, requesting replenishment when necessary. * Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and organization of the kitchen, cold rooms, utensils, and equipment. * Oversee meal preparation, ensuring appropriate production time and dish presentation. * Assist in task distribution and scheduling of the team's work shifts. * Verify proper storage and expiration dates of food items in accordance with health inspection regulations. * Support the Head Chef in cost control, portioning, and waste reduction. * Train and onboard new employees into the kitchen routines and best practices. * Substitute for the Head Chef during absences, within the limits established by management. **Desirable Requirements:** * Previous experience in kitchen operations (preferably as a lead or supervising cook). * Knowledge of good food handling practices. * Leadership skills and effective communication with team members. * Organized, responsible, and committed to quality. **Hierarchical Relationships:** * **Immediate Superior:** Head Chef / Executive Chef * **Subordinates:** Cooks, kitchen assistants, and kitchen helpers
