#### **About the position:** We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Perishables Operator to join our team. The professional will be responsible for ensuring the quality, organization, and proper display of perishable products, contributing to customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of the store. If you pay attention to detail, enjoy working with food, and seek a dynamic work environment, this position is for you! #### **Main responsibilities:** * Receive, inspect, and store perishable products (meat, dairy, deli items, produce, bakery, etc.), following hygiene and food safety standards. * Accurately price products, verifying and updating labels. * Organize and restock shelves, counters, and displays, ensuring product rotation (FIFO \- First In, First Out) to prevent losses. * Monitor product expiration dates, removing expired or near-expiry items. * Maintain cleanliness and organization in the perishables area, including cold rooms, counters, and equipment. * Assist customers by answering product-related questions and providing support when needed. * Monitor temperatures of refrigeration and freezing equipment. * Identify and report any irregularities or non-conformities related to products or equipment. * Collaborate with the team to achieve sales and store organization goals. #### **Responsibilities and duties:** * Restock products; * Return merchandise in case of customer cancellation; * Provide customer service; * Verify pricing of promotional products. #### **Required qualifications:** * Completed high school education * Flexible availability
