###### **Mechanical Design Engineer (M/F) – Nuclear Sector**
### **Join a leading industrial player**
Our client is an industrial group recognized for decades for its expertise in the design, manufacturing, and installation of **turnkey special-purpose machinery**, serving high-tech industries—especially the nuclear sector.
Mastering the entire project lifecycle (studies, calculations, manufacturing, testing, installation), it undertakes highly technical, high-value-added projects.
Committed to the energy transition, it conducts its activities responsibly, supporting sustainable, low-carbon industry.
### **Your mission**
Reporting to the Head of the Calculation Department, you will join a rapidly expanding team and work on complex projects, primarily within the nuclear sector.
In this capacity, your responsibilities include:
* Defining technical assumptions and data required for calculations
* Performing **analytical calculations** (bolting, welding, simple geometries, etc.)
* Conducting **numerical simulations (finite element analysis)** using **ANSYS**:
+ Modeling, meshing, simplifications
+ Analysis, validation, and interpretation of results
* Optimizing calculations while complying with client requirements, standards, and regulations
* Verifying result compliance and proposing technical solutions when necessary
* Preparing technical deliverables (calculation notes, assumptions, summaries)
* Contributing to knowledge management and regulatory monitoring
### **Your profile**
* Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Mechanical Engineering (Engineering School or Master’s program)
* Minimum **3–5 years’ experience** in a design office, preferably in the nuclear or industrial sector
### **️ Essential key competence**
* **Operational proficiency in ANSYS software (mandatory)**
This skill is **essential for the position**: applications lacking ANSYS proficiency cannot be considered.
* Solid understanding of the **finite element method** (static, vibratory, transient, etc.)
### **Desirable competencies**
* Mathcad, LS\-DYNA
* Standards: CODAP, EN 13445 / 13480, Eurocodes, RCCM, RCCMRx, FEM
