We are seeking a talented and motivated welder to become part of our dynamic and innovative team. **Main Activities and Responsibilities:** \- Join metal alloy components using pressure or fusion methods, including assemblies, structures, pipes, sheets, and profiles; \- Define and prepare the welding process according to the part to be fabricated, following drawings and technical specifications; \- Prepare metal parts for welding by performing visual inspection, pre-heating parts with torches, beveling, brushing, and gouging; \- Select filler material based on base metal and applicable welding process, electrode type, torch nozzle, shielding gas type, and pressure gauge settings; \- Control localized heating of the part, consumable melting during welding, and part cooling; \- Inspect surface finish of the weld, weld bead quality—including stresses, cracks, and deformations—and remove slag and fumes; \- Perform basic measurement, filing, sawing, drilling, sheet cutting, and other related tasks; \- Assemble and tack metal part components; \- Perform maintenance and restoration welding on metal parts—specifically addressing cracks or fractures; \- Assist in preparing parts, tools, and instruments required for preventive and corrective equipment maintenance; \- Contribute to cleaning maintenance equipment and shared tools, as well as organizing and cleaning the work area; \- Assist in conservation, repair, and preventive/corrective maintenance of industrial equipment or installations under specific guidance; \- Support maintenance activities to preserve and extend equipment service life; \- Perform simple repairs and component replacements under supervision and guidance from technical staff or immediate supervisor; \- Support the maintenance team by providing necessary materials, tools, and information for required repairs; \- Assist in transporting parts using forklifts when necessary; \- Assist in mechanical assembly of new equipment and task distribution related to such activities, as well as disassembly of equipment already installed in the factory; \- Assist and perform mechanical work focused on welding of parts; \- Assist the team in cleaning and maintaining boilers and reactors; \- Assist in assembling and disassembling mechanical components, and other equipment maintenance-related tasks; \- Provide technical support to mechanical and maintenance technicians by supplying necessary materials, tools, and information for repairs; \- Perform other duties inherent to the department as requested by the immediate supervisor; **Prerequisites:** \- Desired Education: Completed High School and/or Technical Degree in Electromechanics or related fields \- Professional Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience \- Preferred experience in industrial maintenance with mechanical skills and general metal part welding \- Welding-related training courses \- Certifications in NR 12, NR 34, and NR 35 are advantageous. **Expected Skills:** \- Dynamic, proactive, self-sufficient, agile; \- Strong organizational and time-management skills; \- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel); \- Industrial environment experience; \- Ability to perform electrical and/or mechanical maintenance and repairs; Employment Type: Full-time CLT Compensation: Starting at R$2.700,00 per month Benefits: * Medical assistance * Dental assistance * Commercial agreements and discounts * Free parking * Profit-sharing program * Life insurance * Meal allowance * Food voucher * Transportation voucher Work Location: On-site
