Job Summary: A reforestation professional to carry out cleaning, planting, maintenance, and harvesting support activities in forestry operations, ensuring species development and conservation of areas. Key Highlights: 1. Direct involvement in the reforestation process and forest maintenance. 2. Responsibilities include planting, cleaning, and caring for forests. 3. Support in harvesting activities and operation of forestry machinery. Perform activities in the reforestation process. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform manual clearing (using machetes) in plantation plots, firebreaks, and plot boundaries; * Prepare chemical solutions and apply herbicides in pre-determined areas; * Build and maintain fences; * Provide support in semi-mechanized forest harvesting activities during the first and second thinnings; * Perform high and low pruning (limbing) on forest species; * Plant and replant forest seedlings effectively to ensure their development; * Apply starter and top-dressing fertilizers in reforestation areas; * Maintain farm access roads in good condition; * Control ants using granular bait application; * Mark logs for cutting according to desired length; * Occasionally fell trees using a chainsaw (only if certified); * Fell and de-limb trees; * Operate forestry machinery for material and timber transport (only if certified); * Perform other tasks compatible with the requirements of the position. **Requirements and Qualifications** Desired Education Level: 03 — Completed 5th Grade of Elementary School Field of Study: Professional Experience: FORESTRY WORKER — Minimum 6 months of experience.
