Audiovisual Technician and IT Support

Job Summary: Audiovisual and IT professional with experience in sound, video, lighting operation, content editing, and technical support for users and events. Key Highlights: 1. Complete audiovisual system operation for events and content production. 2. IT technical support, including hardware, networks, and educational tools. 3. Planning and execution of sound, lighting, and imaging setups for events. **Audiovisual and Content Production** * Operate sound systems on digital mixing consoles (e.g., Behringer X32/XR18, Yamaha), correctly configuring various microphone types (lavalier, headset, dynamic, condenser, and wireless). * Configure and operate professional cameras (ISO, shutter speed, white balance), projectors, TVs, and video infrastructure (SDI/NDI). * Operate stage lighting systems (DMX), as well as assemble recording sets, scenery, and stages. * Configure and operate online streaming platforms (OBS Studio, vMix, StreamYard or similar) for multi-camera broadcasts. * Capture, edit, and finalize lectures, presentations, and institutional materials using video and audio editing software (Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, Adobe Audition or similar). * Produce bumpers, dynamic graphics, and motion graphics, applying color correction (color grading) and image and sound processing. **IT Support and Infrastructure** * Provide technical support to users on operating systems (Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS). * Perform basic hardware maintenance, structured cabling organization, RJ45 cable crimping, and assist in configuring routers and Wi\-Fi Access Points. * Support teachers and staff in using digital educational tools (Google Workspace for Education, Microsoft Teams). **Event Operations and Maintenance** * Plan and execute sound, lighting, and imaging setups for institutional events (graduations, presentations, sports events, etc.). * Conduct preventive inspections in classrooms, auditoriums, and studios to ensure full equipment functionality. * Organize and manage equipment inventory (microphones, cables, tripods, monitors, stage monitors, etc.), maintaining a functional and safe environment. * Work night shifts and weekends as scheduled and per compensation policy. **Performance Indicators** * Availability of audiovisual and IT equipment (low failure rate during classes and events). * Average response and resolution time for service requests. * Number of technical incidents during events and their recurrence. * Adherence to deadlines for delivery of institutional content. * Internal user satisfaction level (teachers, coordinators, communications team). **Requirements: Education and Experience** * Technical or higher education degree in Audiovisual, Radio and Television, Multimedia Production, Information Technology, or related fields. * Experience in sound, video, lighting operation and/or IT support. **Technical Knowledge** * Operation of digital mixing consoles and professional audio systems. * Operation of cameras, projectors, TVs, and video infrastructure (SDI/NDI). * Video and audio editing software (Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, Adobe Audition or equivalents). * Basic knowledge of motion graphics and color correction (After Effects or similar). * Support for operating systems (Windows, macOS, ChromeOS) and basic networking (cabling, routers, Wi\-Fi). * Use of educational platforms (Google Workspace for Education, Microsoft Teams). **Preferred Qualifications** * NR\-10 (Electrical Installation Safety) and NR\-35 (Work at Heights) certifications. **Behavioral Competencies** * Ability to solve problems under pressure and in real time. * Aesthetic sense for image, sound, and scene composition. * Teaching ability and patience when guiding teachers and students. * Organization, attention to detail, and care for equipment. * Proactivity and schedule flexibility. * Teamwork with pedagogical, communications, IT, and events departments. * Responsibility, ethics, and alignment with the school’s values.
