Job Summary: We are seeking a Junior Programmer responsible for programming, testing, and maintaining computer programs, using requirements specifications and system analysts' analyses as supporting references. Key Highlights: 1. Bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis or related fields, or currently enrolled 2. Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS 3. Experience with georeferenced databases, especially PostGIS Orbital Remote Sensing (satellite imagery) and its processing; Aerial Photogrammetry and Laser Profiling (LiDAR); Multi-purpose Technical Registers (urban and rural); Thematic Mapping (land use and land cover, among others); Surveying and Geodesy; Geographic Information Systems (supply, development, and support); Training. We are seeking a Junior Programmer responsible for programming, testing, and maintaining computer programs, using requirements specifications and system analysts' analyses as supporting references. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, or related fields, or currently enrolled; Intermediate English proficiency; Basic knowledge of Ruby on Rails; Intermediate knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; Intermediate knowledge of frameworks such as React, React Native, Angular, or Vue; Advanced knowledge of React or React Native; Knowledge of configuration and usage of GeoServer and/or ArcGIS Server; Knowledge of APIs for communication with GeoServer and/or ArcGIS Server; Experience with georeferenced databases, especially PostGIS; Experience with the OpenLayers or Leaflet library. Professional profile: proactive, helpful, and eager to continuously acquire new knowledge.
