Job Summary: We are seeking an organized, results-oriented Purchasing Assistant to support the supply cycle in Colombo/PR—from quotation requests through supplier development and KPI monitoring. We are looking for a **Purchasing Assistant** for an industrial company in Colombo/PR. You will be responsible for supporting the procurement cycle—from raw material quotations to developing new suppliers and tracking departmental KPIs. We seek an organized candidate with a sense of urgency and a strong focus on results. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Responsibilities and Duties** Conduct price quotations for Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM), and indirect materials (consumables). Maintain and update the registry of approved suppliers. Assist in developing and prospecting new partners and suppliers. Perform *follow-up* on Purchase Orders (POs) to ensure timely delivery. Prepare procurement performance indicator (KPI) reports. Conduct annual supplier evaluations and maintain updated input price lists. Support the Procurement Specialist in strategic negotiations, capital expenditure (Capex) projects, and service contracting. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Education:** Completed Bachelor’s or Technical degree in Business Administration or related fields. **Experience:** Prior experience as a Purchasing Assistant. **Tools:** Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on **Advanced Excel**. **Systems:** Familiarity with the **SAP** system. **Preferred Qualification:** Previous experience in the **food industry**. **Competencies:** Sense of urgency, planning ability, organizational skills, and resilience. **Additional Information** Salary: R$ 3.000,00 CLT Meal Allowance: R$ 430,00 On-site meals Transportation Allowance Amil Health Insurance Plan Dental Insurance Plan Group Life Insurance Pharmacy Benefits Program Discounts at partner universities We invite you to join a dynamic and talented team where you can develop your skills and grow professionally.
