Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for freight management and optimization, ensuring operational efficiency and resolving issues with carriers, as well as supporting negotiations and strategic decision-making. Key Highlights: 1. Freight and carrier management and optimization. 2. Operational problem resolution and discrepancy handling. 3. Support in negotiations and performance indicator analysis. **Job Description:** ---------------------- Your daily responsibilities will include: Requesting freight quotations from carriers. Contracting freight services via the Frete Rápido platform or another platform when necessary. Verifying billed versus contracted freight charges (freight auditing). Identifying and resolving billing discrepancies with carriers. Handling cargo damage, loss, and delays to ensure carrier reimbursement. Supporting negotiations and decisions regarding partner carriers to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency. Assisting in defining freight and packaging rules. Ensuring adherence to pickup and delivery deadlines. Resolving operational issues with carriers. Monitoring performance indicators (on-time performance, cost, damage rates). **Desired Qualifications:** -------------------------- Education: Bachelor’s degree, currently pursuing or completed. Experience: Freight charge auditing experience. Desired: Advanced Excel skills and experience with TMS systems.
