WHAT WILL YOU DO AS AN EXPEDITION ASSISTANT? * Record contractual characteristics and parameters in the system to enable correct issuance of freight transport documents and invoices, as well as maintain and update freight rate tables for contracting transportation services. * Authorize daily loading operations, continuing with authorization of night-shift vehicles still on-site awaiting release. * Authorize pickups by generating and analyzing reports, separating required documentation to release cargo, and ensuring same-day delivery. * Close released documents, updating occurrences and status to facilitate deliveries. * Perform electronic archiving of documents and forward physical documents to CEDOC. * Provide driver support in cases of vehicle blocking or other situations requested by drivers. * Maintain the palletization control spreadsheet with necessary data such as value and weight. * Perform other related tasks as requested by your immediate supervisor.
