Interdepartmental collaboration to align operations Job Description **\*Fixed-Term Position\*** The Production Planning Controller is responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of production processes, guaranteeing optimal use of resources to meet market demand. This professional operates in a dynamic environment, collaborating with various company departments to ensure achievement of goals, deadlines, and agreed commitments. **Key Responsibilities** * Production Planning: Develop and monitor production planning, ensuring adherence to schedules and alignment of production capacity with demand. * Inventory Control: Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory levels, making necessary adjustments to prevent excess or shortages. * Data Analysis: Use analytical tools to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in production processes. * Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work jointly with Sales, Maintenance, Logistics, Operations, and Quality departments to align operations and ensure customer delivery. * S\&OP Implementation: Actively participate in the Sales and Operations Planning (S\&OP) process and machine loading, contributing to integration between Sales and Production. * PCP Knowledge: Understanding of Production Planning and Control principles and practices, including Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Just-in-Time (JIT) techniques. * S\&OP: Familiarity with the S\&OP process, including integration of sales and operations planning, and the importance of cross-departmental collaboration. * Machine Loading: Knowledge of factory capacity utilization, breakdown of production plans into equipment loading, and allocation of required labor. * Performance Analysis: Ability to analyze performance indicators (KPIs) and propose continuous process improvements. **Requirements** * Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree * Languages: Intermediate English proficiency preferred. * ERP Experience: Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, for process and information management.
