Job Summary: Responsible for operating the checkout and serving customers, following protocols and standards, scanning merchandise, and collecting payments. Key Highlights: 1. About Us GTOP Group comprises the brands Rede TOP, ObenCard, and Preceiro Atacadista. Managed by a multi-family administration, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for operating the checkout and serving customers, adhering to established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning merchandise and collecting payments; performing cash withdrawals from the register; closing the register; and submitting daily financial reports at the end of the shift. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the checkout by following protocols, rules, regulations, and established standards; scanning/weighing products; consulting the product code table; checking product labels, scale weight, and system matching; processing payments; verifying prior authorization when accepting checks and making appropriate notations on the back; and authenticating cash payments; Ensure cash withdrawals during the shift and proper register closure by counting cash, reconciling totals, signing and submitting reports to the Supervisor and/or depositing funds into the safe or 24-hour cash box, thereby preventing excessive exposure of cash and ensuring accurate financial reporting; Contribute to achieving current campaign targets by promoting available products and services, identifying missing items, and promptly notifying the Supervisor for corrective action; Contribute to reducing losses at the checkout area by proactively minimizing plastic bag waste, preventing theft, and promptly returning perishable items, etc. Maintain the workstation and equipment in optimal working and clean condition; request plastic bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist with packing goods for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Support related tasks as needed, such as shelf stocking, checkout stand replenishment, product pricing and expiry date verification, gift packaging, etc. Requirements **Academic Qualification:** Completed elementary education **Additional Information:** 100% on-site position **Work Location:** Rua Waldemar Francisco, No. 434, São Cristóvão neighborhood, Barra Velha city **Working Hours:** 4:45 PM to 6:00 PM and 6:15 PM to 9:20 PM **Benefits:** Dental Plan Shopping Benefits at Group Stores Life Insurance Sales Target Bonus Attendance Bonus Health Insurance Telemedicine Employee Referral Program * Position available for Persons with Disabilities (PCD)
