




Perform welding on piping, structures, and equipment using the Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) process to join components in accordance with required quality and safety standards; Control preheat, interpass, and post-weld heat treatment temperatures whenever specified in welding procedures; Control welding machine amperage in compliance with technical recommendations; Perform welding on materials and in welding positions compatible with your qualification; Comply with Performance Control requirements (weld repair rate); Ensure proper storage, maintenance, and cleanliness of machines, equipment, instruments, and the workplace as defined by established procedures; Store consumables in maintenance and portable ovens, ensuring appropriate storage temperature. Protect the welding area using welding booths and tarps to prevent adverse effects on weld quality. Prepare parts to be welded by applying appropriate treatments to achieve perfect welds; Perform final finishing on welded components, including cleaning, alignment, grinding, or sanding of worked areas. Monitor the usage/consumption of welding materials, recording work performed and materials consumed; Report any potential failures or irregularities that may hinder smooth workflow, as well as breakage or damage to tools and equipment, to immediate supervision; Maintain workplace hygiene and safety, practicing cleanliness and organization; Implement and promote the Quality, Safety, and Environmental Policy; Be knowledgeable of and comply with standards, procedures, or work instructions defined by the Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Management Systems applicable to your area of operation, as established by the company or current legislation.
