Job Summary: Responsible for handling, loading, and unloading baggage and cargo, ensuring the safety and efficiency of airport operations. Key Highlights: 1. Handling and segregation of baggage and cargo in an airport environment. 2. Ensuring flight safety and staff safety. 3. Performing equipment marshalling and aircraft handling. Description: * Completed high school education; * Strong interpersonal communication skills; * Analytical ability in assessing situations; * Stress tolerance; Physical requirements include broad and fine motor coordination, dexterity, articulation of upper and lower limbs, bipedal posture for performing duties, trunk rotation and flexion, physical exertion, and walking throughout the entire operational area. Sensory requirements include visual acuity for moving baggage from conveyor belts to transport equipment, pavement navigation, aircraft loading and unloading with luggage and cargo, signaling around the aircraft being serviced, floor inspection and scanning to retrieve fallen objects, and auditory perception to identify audible signals from equipment and machinery on the tarmac. Neuropsychological requirements include attention, concentration, organizational skills, data interpretation, and initiative to resolve causal situations. * Supervise aircraft during arrivals and departures; * Inspect and supervise baggage and cargo labels; * Place and remove wheel chocks and cones on aircraft according to the Client’s Manual or dnata’s MGO; * Perform segregation of baggage and cargo volumes in airport sorting areas by reading identification labels (with or without technological assistance), aiming to load them into storage devices (carts and/or ULDs) onto the correct flights; * Stow baggage and cargo in aircraft holds following rules and procedures outlined in the MGO, including special handling recommendations (e.g., fragile, dangerous, live animals, perishable cargo); * Unload baggage and cargo by reading volume identification labels and place them at designated locations (baggage reclaim carousels); * Segregate baggage and cargo during aircraft unloading to facilitate interline connections by reading volume identification labels; * Inspect and monitor packaging of cargo and baggage to verify suitability for transport, ensuring flight safety and safety of personnel handling them; * Correctly handle and allocate baggage and cargo in aircraft holds, observing internal restraint and hold height safety limits; * Unload wheelchairs or baby strollers and place them at designated locations; * Perform equipment marshalling during coupling procedures with aircraft to prevent fuselage collisions; * Service aircraft within established timeframes per service type and airport classification; * Conduct checklists on non-motorized equipment to ensure operational safety and report equipment requiring repairs to the GSE Technical maintenance team; * Report any equipment anomalies during operations to supervisors. 2511070202301574672
