Job Summary: Professional to perform optical fiber splicing, cable repair, identification and organization of fibers in splice closures and DIOs, with proficiency in fusion splicer and OTDR. Proficiency in fusion splicer and OTDR Optical Fiber Splicing Technician Responsibilities: Perform splicing; Proficiency in fusion splicer and OTDR; Prepare optical cables for splicing (strip, clean, cleave). Identify, organize, and label fibers in splice closures and DIOs.
