**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Collect and prepare biological specimens for diagnostic testing;
* Identify, separate, distribute, transport, and dispose of specimens or biological materials;
* Perform technical tasks to ensure the physical, chemical, and biological integrity of collected materials;
* Work in accordance with quality and biosafety standards and good practices.
* Perform operational control of laboratory equipment, monitoring functionality, routine checks, recordkeeping, and reporting non-conformities;
* Support critical analysis of processes and results together with the responsible clinical biochemist, contributing to the identification of inconsistencies and operational improvements;
* Request supplies and materials required for daily laboratory operations, monitoring inventory levels and restocking;
* Ensure traceability of specimens, materials, reagents, and processes through appropriate documentation and internal controls;
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Completed High School education;
* Completed Technical Course in Clinical Analysis, Pathology Technology, or Laboratory Technology;
* Experience in the hospital sector;
* Proficiency in arterial/venous blood collection and processing of biological samples.
* Experience in hematology, urinalysis, parasitology, clinical chemistry, and microbiology workstations;

This position is for a fairground-based role, requiring availability to work during morning and afternoon shifts.
