Organization and supervision of internal flows OSID – Obras Sociais Irmã Dulce is one of the largest philanthropic institutions in the country, performing approximately 5.6 million outpatient procedures annually in Bahia for users of the Unified Health System (SUS), elderly individuals, people with disabilities and craniofacial deformities, people experiencing homelessness, users of psychoactive substances, and children and adolescents at social risk. The organization offers a unique service profile in Brazil, distributed across 21 centers providing assistance to low-income populations in the areas of Health, Social Assistance, Scientific Research, Health Education, Education, and preservation and dissemination of the history of its founder, Saint Dulce of the Poor. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Provide humanized service by cordially welcoming patients, visitors, and suppliers; applying identification stickers when necessary—indicating the patient’s specific location and bed—to guide them to their intended destination. * Daily request from supervisors the list of candidates for HR selection, by printing the list at the reception desk, to monitor their entry and exit from the hospital. * Grant access to blood donors upon presentation of valid identification documents to verify whether the donation is intended for a patient or is voluntary. * Request staff members to wear their official ID badges, verifying document usage upon entry to prevent unauthorized individuals from entering the institution. * Prevent unauthorized persons from entering the area by observing behavior and attitudes to avoid damage, theft, or unauthorized vehicle parking. * Remain vigilant during gate openings, monitoring irregularities to prevent unauthorized third-party entry or patient elopement. * Supervise internal institutional areas by organizing queues and providing information about available services upon request to prevent overcrowding. * Control ambulance access to the hospital by requesting the patient’s name and inpatient unit to contact the relevant department for confirmation of authorization. * Monitor vehicle entry/exit in the parking lot, verifying that vehicles display authorized identification stickers and assisting drivers to optimize space usage. * Grant access to personnel from outsourced/contracted companies responsible for waste collection, coordinating with the Hygiene Supervisor for authorization. * Manage belongings of patient companions at the baggage storage area, sealing and labeling items to prevent loss and unauthorized material entry. * Issue access tickets for service appointments via computerized systems at the SPP/Inpatient and Physical Therapy centers, observing priority status and required documentation per center procedures/guidelines. * Monitor patient discharges by requesting discharge authorization notices to file documentation and prevent unauthorized departures. * Track issuance/return of room and outpatient clinic keys, recording details on forms to monitor flow for potential record verification. * Document incidents in the occurrence logbook as needed, describing events occurring during the shift to keep Gate Agents and the Access Control Coordinator informed about situations arising during the work shift. * Receive telephone calls, assessing the needs of each center to respond to requests. * Make telephone calls to verify possible access authorizations and request the presence of institutional staff at the reception desk to receive deliveries or serve clients. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed high school education; * Six months of experience in similar positions. **Additional Information** * Health and dental insurance; * Transportation allowance.
