Job Summary: We are seeking an innovative and passionate professional for the Quality team at the Automotive Components Factory, responsible for overseeing operations, coordinating teams, and ensuring excellence in laboratory and quality management processes. Do you fit this profile? **Responsibilities and Duties** * Monitor daily laboratory operations, ensuring efficient execution of tests, analyses, and validations in accordance with established technical and quality standards. * Coordinate and develop the laboratory and quality team, promoting technical training, performance monitoring, and continuous capacity building. * Develop, implement, and maintain procedures, test methods, and quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards. * Ensure calibration, maintenance, and metrological control of laboratory instruments and equipment, guaranteeing measurement accuracy, reliability, and traceability. * Conduct audits, inspections, and monitoring of laboratory and production processes, ensuring compliance with standards such as ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, and other applicable requirements. * Analyze laboratory results, quality indicators, and non-conformities, conducting root cause investigations and implementing corrective and preventive actions. * Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation, test records, performance reports, quality indicators, and action plans. * Coordinate product and material release processes, ensuring compliance with technical requirements, specifications, and quality standards prior to final approval. * Lead continuous improvement initiatives in laboratory, inspection, and quality control processes, aiming to increase efficiency, reduce defects, and optimize resources. * Maintain and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring its effectiveness, updating, and alignment with corporate and regulatory requirements. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree completed in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related fields; * Experience in laboratory management, quality assurance, metrology, laboratory testing, or quality control, preferably in the automotive industry, manufacturing, chemical sector, or other technically demanding industrial segments. * Solid knowledge of laboratory processes, quality management systems, equipment calibration, non-conformance analysis, and test control. * Proficiency in quality standards and norms, such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949 (ISO/TS), audit requirements, document control, and regulatory compliance. * Experience with quality management software, laboratory information systems, statistical tools, and data analysis for monitoring indicators and process improvement. * Analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, failure investigation expertise, implementation of corrective actions, and continuous improvement capabilities. * Certifications or specializations in Quality, Metrology, Six Sigma, CQE, Quality Auditing, or related areas will be considered a plus. * Experience in advanced quality processes such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, CEP/SPC, and laboratory process validation will be a plus. * Advanced English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking) is required; * Willingness to work on-site in Camaçari/BA. **Additional Information** At BYD, we prioritize our employees' well-being and continuously strive to improve our benefits package.
