Join our mission! **Responsibilities and Duties** * Comply with institutional guidelines; * Participate in training programs; * Develop procedures and audit adherence to Good Practices for receipt, storage, and distribution; * Participate in inventories; * Conduct periodic audits; * Manage surgical kits; * Monitor inventory levels, expiration dates, storage conditions, and product traceability; * Control high-risk items (e.g., opioids, anesthetics, blood derivatives, antimicrobials); * Monitor and analyze drug counts as stipulated by Ordinance No. 344/98; * Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and nursing teams to ensure rational drug use; * Participate in pre- and post-operative medication reconciliation when applicable; * Monitor surgical antibiotic prophylaxis protocols; * Perform pharmaceutical analysis and interventions whenever necessary; * Develop and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to material and drug flow within the surgical center; * Report adverse events associated with drugs and health products; * Investigate quality deviations, incidents, and near-misses in the perioperative period; * Train nursing and support staff on safe medication use, standardization, and workflows; * Serve as the technical reference for questions regarding medications used in the surgical center; * Cross-check surgeon-requested OPME (implants, prostheses, orthoses, and special materials) lists against available stock; * Communicate inconsistencies to relevant teams (surgeons, nursing, procurement, auditing); * Validate compatibility among OPME used, authorized, and billed; * Assist internal audit and health insurance providers in cases of claim denials or disputes; * Monitor staff compliance with established routines; * Daily review of the surgical schedule against critical inventory levels to prevent stockouts; * Evaluate requests for non-standardized materials and medications for surgical procedures; request and monitor acquisition according to scheduled timelines; * Daily evaluation of material and medication quotas across all surgical pharmacies, assessing risks associated with stock shortages, and follow up with the CAF Pharmacist for restocking updates; **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree in Pharmacy; * Active Regional Pharmacy Council (CRF) registration; * Availability to work administrative hours from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; * Prior experience in Hospital Pharmacy, Surgical Center, inventory management, logistics, and/or Clinical Pharmacy is desirable. **Additional Information** * Health Insurance Plan; * Dental Insurance Plan; * Transportation Allowance.
