**Job Description:**
Verify the surgical schedule for the assigned operating room, arranging for material replenishment when necessary, and organizing and positioning all required materials and equipment for the procedure in accordance with internal procedures, current legislation, standard protocols, and safety regulations, aiming to ensure quality care and patient safety;
Circulate in the operating room, verifying the surgical schedule, preparing the area for patient reception, checking equipment and materials to be used, confirming with department secretaries the procedure or surgery confirmation and authorization as well as other administrative matters, and retrieving materials from the Pharmacy Department immediately after system authorization, aiming to provide prompt and high-quality care to patients undergoing the procedure or surgery;
Perform patient care activities to ensure quality and safety in care delivery;
Accompany patients receiving care at the Institution, identifying possible complications, notifying the supervisor and/or medical team to facilitate rapid patient recovery;
Document patient progress according to the standard protocol to ensure continuity of care, comply with legal requirements, internal procedures, patient safety, and risk minimization;
Implement the patient care plan for patients receiving care at the Institution, in accordance with internal procedures, current legislation, and regulatory bodies, aiming to comply with clinical care protocols;
Ensure high-quality service for both internal and external customers in accordance with institutional procedures, safeguarding the Institution’s image and customer satisfaction.
**Requirements:**
Technical Nursing qualification with active COREN registration;
Experience in operating rooms is desirable.
