BM VAGAS, in partnership with a VETERINARY LABORATORY, is seeking a LABORATORY TECHNICIAN for the city of Salvador-BA. Responsibilities **1. Processing of biological samples (Cutting and Extraction Room):** Label and organize microtubes and biological samples (hair). Cut and place hair follicles into microtubes according to identification. Perform bench and instrument sanitation between samples. Prepare reagents and carry out DNA extraction (rapid methods and in-house protocols). Organize samples for subsequent molecular analysis. **2. Organization and archiving:** Archive processed samples by species and in numerical order. Maintain clean and organized workspaces (benches, floors, racks, pipette tips). **3. Laboratory diagnosis (AIE/Mormo Room):** Receive, identify, and register samples. Aliquot sera into numbered microtubes. Prepare reagents and perform diagnostic assays (IDGA and ELISA) for AIE and Mormo. Conduct readings, record results in specific systems and logbooks. Seal samples upon completion of processing. **4. Support and control activities:** Complete SGQ forms (temperature control, kit inventory). Wash and sanitize glassware. Monitor equipment and request preventive maintenance. Follow safety regulations and use mandatory PPEs. Work in accordance with Quality Management System standards. **5. Teamwork:** Collaborate with technical staff and professionals from other areas to ensure smooth laboratory routine operations.
