OSID – Obras Sociais Irmã Dulce is one of the largest philanthropic institutions in the country, performing approximately 5.6 million outpatient procedures annually in Bahia for users of the Unified Health System (SUS), elderly individuals, persons with disabilities and craniofacial deformities, people experiencing homelessness, users of psychoactive substances, and children and adolescents at social risk.
The institution offers a unique service profile in Brazil, distributed across 21 centers providing assistance to low-income populations in the areas of Health, Social Assistance, Scientific Research, Health Education, Education, and preservation and dissemination of the history of its founder, Saint Dulce of the Poor.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Collect the nursing unit kit from the Pharmaceutical Supply Center or CDCMSALP and deliver it to the unit;
* Arrange hospital supplies, medications, and office materials at the nursing station;
* Request office and administrative supplies, materials, and/or medications from the Storage and Distribution Department;
* Return materials and medications to inventory;
* Perform patient record checklist upon hospital discharge, transfer, and death, then forward the protocolized records to the Patient Record Service (SPP);
* Forward imaging exam requests to the Bioimaging Department for scheduling, then receive the scheduled request;
* Forward hemocomponent requisitions to the Blood Bank, properly protocolized;
* Forward interconsultation requests to various specialties;
* Request maintenance services (asset management, metallurgy, refrigeration workshop, IT, and Clinical Engineering equipment) via the designated system;
* Remove excess documents from patient records, organize them chronologically and by document type into bags, envelopes, and/or file boxes, store them appropriately within the unit, and forward them to SPP and/or billing upon hospital discharge, transfer, or death;
* Retrieve Death Certificates and patient identification wristbands from SPP and deliver them to the unit nurse;
* Participate in training sessions;
* Guide Apprentices;
* Maintain organization of the nursing station;
* Support the nursing team with administrative tasks.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Completed high school education;
* Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office suite);
