The Wind Technical Services area’s primary objective is to provide technical support to all wind farms. **What you will do:** **In this role, you will be responsible for:** **What we expect from you:** * The professional will be technically responsible for supporting all EGP wind farms in automation, SCADA systems, and networks, as well as managing technical aspects of third-party contracts serving these wind farms. The professional will evaluate and implement Level 2 SCADA automation projects. Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA systems (Elipse, SDI, etc.), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and automation hardware and software used in renewable energy systems is required. * Support and promote adherence to the company’s strategy, policies, and procedures; * Ensure compliance with socio-environmental, occupational health, and safety regulations; * Be available for domestic and international travel on behalf of EGP. **Required Academic Qualification** Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Automation Engineering **Technical Requirements** * Minimum 3 years’ experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA systems (Elipse, SDI, Micro Scada, etc.), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and automation hardware and software used in wind renewable energy systems. Ability to integrate systems and technologies for automated processes, particularly in wind energy. * Skills to diagnose and resolve issues in automated systems. Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, PROFIBUS, among others. Familiarity with power system-specific protocols such as IEC 61850, DNP3, IEC 60870\-5\-101/104, and others used in power system automation and smart grids. * Experience in predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance of wind turbines and anemometric towers. Experience in maintenance of substations and medium-voltage networks; auxiliary services; protection, control, command, and measurement will be considered an advantage; * Proficiency in using instruments and performing routine tests on medium- and high-voltage substation equipment. Ability to read and interpret electrical, operational, and functional diagrams.
