




**Job Category** ================ Production & Skilled Trades**Position Summary** ==================== Perform equipment changes during production line changeovers, verifying specifications required for product industrialization in terms of dimensions, raw materials, and other parameters. Carry out machine setup to enable serial production, adhering to standard time requirements.**Responsibilities** ==================== * Measure and complete post-equipment-change and parameter-change forms, recording process-related information and requesting validation from other responsible parties prior to releasing for production. Additionally, monitor the first tires produced; * Perform corrective maintenance on machines (limited to the adhesion area within setup), analyzing occurrences, adjusting and testing parts and components, and/or arranging replacements as needed. Request workshop services to rectify major defects, ensuring full equipment functionality during operation without risk to operator safety; * Perform workplace cleaning and organization tasks, removing waste generated during service execution to maintain the area in good condition; * Execute all safety procedures in accordance with safety engineering and environmental standards; * Follow the equipment cleaning schedule, as well as any ad-hoc requests from the Quality, Uniformity, and Production departments; * Replace bladders and other setup-related items based on on-site assessment, complying with requests from the Quality, Uniformity, and Construction/Vulcanization departments; * Take responsibility for reporting any and all incidents occurring during one’s shift involving safety, product quality, and/or production loss; * Maintain adequate stock levels of assembled and replacement bladders in the setup area; * Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on subassemblies within the department necessary for machine setup, ensuring they remain in optimal working condition; * Liaise with the Maintenance department to request any necessary services for equipment repair, restoration, fabrication, or maintenance related to setup; * Repair and/or replace bladders and other setup-related items based on on-site assessment, complying with requests from the Quality, Uniformity, and Construction/Vulcanization departments. **Minimum Qualifications** ========================== * **Minimum Experience**: Experience in Mechanical field; * **Education**: Completed High School; Technical Mechanical Training is desirable; * **Other Courses/Specific Knowledge/Skills**: Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office suite); Driver’s License Class “B”; Forklift Operator Certification. **What We Offer as a Company** At Bridgestone, what truly matters is generating opportunities for co-creation while simultaneously encouraging your curiosity and creativity to make mobility safer, more efficient, and more sustainable for present and future generations.
