We are looking for technology-passionate professionals to work in a dynamic and strategic **Data Center** environment, directly contributing to the availability, security, and performance of the company's technological infrastructure. In this role, you will serve as a technical expert and reference for the architecture and operation of BYD's **Data Center** logical infrastructure, leading virtualization, storage, and backup environments. You will be responsible for ensuring service continuity, system performance, and compliance with audits, as well as supporting strategies for modernization, scalability, and resilience of critical IT environments. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Define BYD's global Data Center logical architecture, including virtualization, backup, monitoring, and disaster recovery frameworks; * Design and optimize multi-site DRP topologies with active-active replication, ensuring alignment with corporate RTO/RPO targets; * Lead predictive maintenance and analytics initiatives, leveraging data to anticipate hardware or capacity failures; * Establish capacity baselines and five-year roadmaps for computing, storage, and network resources, supporting strategic planning and budgeting; * Integrate BMS, DCIM, and CMDB systems for unified visibility, automated incident correlation, and executive reporting; * Ensure readiness for Tier certification by coordinating internal audits, simulation tests, and gap remediation programs; * Evaluate emerging Data Center technologies (HCI, NVMe, edge computing, liquid cooling) to improve energy efficiency and sustainability; * Lead Data Center modernization and lifecycle management programs, defining upgrade cycles and asset decommissioning policies; * Align Data Center architecture with BYD's global IT governance standards, ensuring consistent methodologies across regions; Collaborate with Energy and Facilities teams to achieve sustainability KPIs (e.g., PUE* 1.3 and carbon reduction targets); * Advise senior management on infrastructure investment strategies, cost optimization, and risk mitigation; * Publish quarterly reports on Data Center performance, compliance status, and technological roadmap progress for executive review; * Represent the Data Center discipline in corporate committees and audits as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). **Requirements and Qualifications** * **Bachelor’s degree** in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; * **Specialization** in virtualization, storage, orchestration, and disaster recovery design (Tier III/IV); * In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001, ITIL, and Tier certification requirements; * Proven experience implementing predictive maintenance and automation frameworks; * Experience integrating BMS, DCIM, and CMDB platforms with unified reporting and analytics; * Ability to define global architecture roadmaps and modernization strategies; * Strong analytical, strategic, and decision-making capabilities in high-availability environments; * **Fluent English** for communication with global teams; * Knowledge of sustainability practices and PUE optimization for energy efficiency; * Excellent negotiation, presentation, and project management skills for executive communication; * Demonstrated track record in global standardization projects and cross-regional infrastructure governance; * Strong commitment to ethics, operational excellence, and leadership in compliance; * Availability for global collaboration, audits, and Data Center modernization initiatives. **Desirable:** * Postgraduate degree or Master’s in Logical disciplines; * Intermediate Mandarin; * VMware VCP/VCIX, ITIL Expert, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or equivalent certifications; * VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX) – Data Center Virtualization; * Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert (SC-100) or Azure Infrastructure Expert (AZ-305); * ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer + Lead Auditor; * ITIL Expert / Managing Professional Transition (MPT); * CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+); * Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Enterprise Linux specialist (optional); * Cloud Architecture and Automation Certification (Azure / AWS / GCP); * BCP/DRP Program Manager – ISO 22301 Lead Implementer; * Automation and Orchestration Certification (Ansible / Terraform / PowerShell DSC). **Additional Information** At BYD, we prioritize our employees’ well-being and continuously seek improvements to our benefits package.
