Join our purpose! **Responsibilities and Duties** * Guide, supervise, and provide support for the activities of technicians, data entry clerks, assistants, aides, and helpers in the department; * Review reports, monitor pending reports, unregistered invoices, and financial transactions; * Track pending issues with partners and physicians, ensuring prompt resolution; * Participate in and attend meetings with the Health Unit Management and Medical Coordination; * Manage requests for materials and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels; * Request and monitor maintenance of department equipment, ensuring uninterrupted operation; * Prepare work schedules and monitor timekeeping and attendance records of staff; * Conduct regular visits to partners to strengthen relationships and align processes; * Prepare performance reports for coordination and management, providing data for decision-making; * Support the department’s strategic planning, monitoring its implementation and outcomes; * Participate in the selection and hiring process of new staff, as needed; * Provide administrative support to the department’s Medical Coordinator; * Hold periodic alignment meetings with Medical Coordination to optimize processes; * Make joint decisions with Medical Coordination, ensuring coherence and strategic alignment; * Respond to external client requests and demands, ensuring high-quality service; * Ensure staff adherence to and compliance with institutional policies; * Encourage and maintain a culture of continuous feedback within the team; * Monitor Key Results (KRs), ensuring goal achievement; * Monitor quality and productivity indicators, especially those related to pathologists; * Plan, conduct training sessions, and continuously develop the operational team. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree, preferably in Biology, Biomedicine, Administration, or Hospital Management; * Postgraduate studies or specialization in Healthcare Management, Hospital Management, Quality, or Process Management will be considered an advantage; * Prior experience in supervision, coordination, or team leadership, preferably in pathology/anatomic pathology laboratories or laboratory diagnostics; * Knowledge of anatomic pathology and/or clinical pathology processes.
