Job Summary: We are seeking an Operations Manager with strategic vision, leadership, and results-oriented focus to supervise the maritime terminal, coordinate operations, and ensure security. Ensure implementation of security measures and quality standards We seek an Operations Manager with strategic vision, leadership, and results-oriented focus to work at the Port of Salvador. Main Responsibilities * Supervise the maritime terminal overall, including passenger circulation, maintenance, and asset security, and propose improvements; * Establish contact with the Harbor Master's Office and other authorities regarding terminal operations; * Coordinate the work of access controllers at the Salvador Maritime Terminal; * Ensure safety during passenger boarding and disembarkation at the terminal; * Immediately notify maritime authorities upon identifying risks to navigation safety; * Enforce terminal regulations, analyzing potential areas for procedural changes and reporting them to management; * Direct all security and control activities at the Salvador Maritime Terminal; * Advise the Terminal’s Executive and Management Teams on security and control matters; * Liaise with Federal, State, and Municipal public agencies, as well as operating companies and service providers, for application and execution of applicable regulations; * Regularly verify proper execution of security and control activities, as well as the team’s alertness level; * Participate in problem resolution, corrective actions, and preventive measures related to Terminal Security; * Ensure internal recording of incidents not relevant to criminal offenses; * Ensure implementation of port facility security measures jointly with the Company’s Security Officer and the Ship’s Security Officer; * Responsible for fully implementing procedures for changing the protection level and communicating such changes to internal staff and competent authorities; * Ensure that the quality of performed work consistently meets standards defined and established by the company; Requirements: * Completed undergraduate degree in Administration, Finance, or related fields.
