Join our purpose! **Responsibilities and Duties** * Under the supervision of a nurse/supervisor, perform activities related to collection, washing, drying, preparation, storage, and distribution of medical articles; * Collect contaminated or expired medical/hospital articles according to established procedures; * Wash and dry articles; * Assemble articles (trays, instrument sets, etc.), verifying components and connections in accordance with the Routine Manual; * Assist in packaging processed articles; * Distribute articles to all departments as requested; * Assess pending tasks and monitor inventory quantities per department; * Assist nursing assistants in sealing articles; * Forward heat-sensitive articles to the third-party ethylene oxide sterilization service; * Support quality assessment of articles from the Central Material Supply Department (CME) and other departments; * Read and record daily sector incidents; * Support the CR nurse/supervisor in performing their duties. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed high school education; * Availability to work night shifts; * Prior experience in the CME area is preferred; * Organized. **Additional Information** Transportation allowance Health and dental insurance plans Health club Benefits club Established on February 21, 1937, by Professor José Silveira, the José Silveira Foundation (FJS) has expanded its mission through sustainable growth, anchored in strategic planning and focused on achieving optimal results.
