Position: SALES MANAGER

Responsibilities and Activities:
Monitor the development of the annual sales strategic plan together with other company departments.
Track product contribution margin per negotiation.
Report to superiors on activities of Sales Representatives and Regional Salespeople — deliveries, complaints, etc.
Set monthly sales challenges for the team of Representatives/Salespeople.
Monitor regional and customer-level competitor practices — sales actions, marketing, pricing policies — and implement them within the company as needed and feasible.
Visit customers whenever necessary to clarify doubts, assess satisfaction levels, and establish partnership relationships.
Daily system-based review of customer portfolio, visit reports, sales reports, logistics portfolio, and pending order portfolio to monitor business progress.
Evaluate and plan sales strategies and operations monthly to meet the targeted sales volume.
Monitor and evaluate commercial representatives daily — their sales performance — maintaining records to identify needs for additional technical argumentation support when engaging customers.
Monitor sales of the product mix to ensure all products meet established targets by region and by Representative.
Monitor profit margins, analyzing all costs and simulating indices to support sales operations.
Monitor expenses within the area of responsibility to meet targets and avoid waste or unnecessary spending.
Administratively track orders entered, invoiced, and delivered via system, spreadsheets, and daily reports.
Monitor the opening of RSACs (Sales Representative Complaint Reports) and their resolution monthly, intervening when necessary.
Monitor legislation governing commercial representatives to ensure a healthy relationship and prevent labor risks for the company.
Provide regional management and other departments with monthly (or upon request) updates on area challenges and accomplishments, analyzing sales declines and proposing corrective actions.
Conduct monthly — and as needed — meetings with the sales team to align objectives and negotiate improvements in sales, acting as a motivator, active listener, and partner to representatives and other area collaborators.
Hire and replace representatives and salespeople, requesting HR team support.
Monitor legislation to ensure sales operations are conducted without risk of price/ tax discrepancies.
Manage promotional actions, merchandising, and events aimed at increasing sales.
Gather market information (customers, suppliers, end consumers) to support new product implementation, whenever requested.
Develop business proposals and conduct commercial feasibility analyses.
Follow routes established by superiors.

Requirements:
Reside in Salvador or nearby, availability for travel, minimum 1 year of experience as a Manager (preferably in food retail), proficiency in Microsoft Office, completed undergraduate degree in Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
