Job Summary:
A professional responsible for monitoring and optimizing inventory, conducting inventories, resolving discrepancies, and proposing improvements to logistics processes.

Responsibilities:
* Monitor physical inventory versus system inventory daily, identifying, analyzing, and correcting discrepancies.
* Conduct and oversee **rotating inventories** and **full inventories**, validate counts, and adjust results.
* Maintain key performance indicators such as: Inventory accuracy; Stockouts; Negative balances; Obsolete/slow-moving inventory; Inventory turnover and coverage.
* Support and monitor receiving, verification, storage, picking, returns, and shipping processes.
* Propose improvements to warehouse layout, slotting, and organization to reduce errors and increase productivity.
* Ensure compliance with internal policies regarding movement and recordkeeping.
* Develop inventory performance reports and dashboards (Excel, Power BI, ERP/WMS).
* Present discrepancy diagnostics and propose action plans.
* Support internal and external inventory-related audits.
* Keep internal controls updated and maintain process documentation.
* Monitor data entry quality in the system (ERP/WMS).
* Collaborate with Operations, Tax, Procurement, Finance, and Quality departments to resolve inconsistencies.
* Track root-cause analyses and participate in continuous improvement meetings.
* Perform traceability tests.
Profile
* Bachelor's degree completed
* Intermediate Excel skills
* Experience with **WMS/ERP** (SAP, Totvs, Protheus, Datasul, Bling, etc.) is desirable.
* Knowledge of inventory control methods (**FIFO, FEFO, LIFO/FIFO**).
* Experience in cyclic inventory and inventory audits.
* Familiarity with logistics KPIs and performance analysis.
* Prior experience in logistics, inventory control, warehousing, or supply chain.
* Experience in distribution centers, third-party logistics providers, or manufacturing industries is a plus.
Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
