




Responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment, interpreting technical drawings, conducting operational tests, adjustments, and calibrations. Additionally, must identify failures, propose improvements, and ensure proper equipment operation. This professional works autonomously but under supervision and possesses solid technical knowledge in the field of mechanics. Monitors and supervises mechanical assembly and the integrity of equipment and piping, ensuring compliance with designs, codes, and standards, with a focus on process safety and quality. * Supervise piping and support installation; perform dimensional verification, alignment, fit-up, and welding inspection. * Monitor NDT (MT/PT/UT/RT by qualified inspectors), hydrostatic/pneumatic tests, and leak testing. * Monitor installation of pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, vessels, filters, valves (on\-off and control), mechanical commissioning, and preservation. * Perform controlled torqueing and tensioning; laser alignment and functional testing. * Verify isometrics, P&IDs, line lists and materials; manage "as\-built" documentation. * Generate progress reports, punch lists and RDOs; support pre\-operation planning. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment * Interpret technical drawings and component specifications * Conduct operational tests, adjustments, and calibrations on equipment * Identify faults and defects in mechanical equipment * Propose improvements in processes and equipment * Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards * Replace damaged parts and components * Supervise and guide assistants and helpers during task execution * Maintain records of performed maintenance and used parts * Participate in training and development programs for technical updates * Collaborate with engineering team in implementing new projects * Maintain workplace organization and cleanliness
