Responsible for providing specialized technical support during the design, supervision, and monitoring phases of mechanical systems, rotating and static equipment, and industrial facilities, as well as in the management of Safety, Environment, and Health (HSE). Engages in the preparation of mechanical technical documentation, analysis of piping, machinery, and thermodynamic process designs and reports, and supports the supervision of mechanical installations and maintenance, ensuring compliance with established standards and requirements. **Design and documentation** * Prepare and review single-line/multi-line diagrams, interconnections, cable lists, panel/MCC layouts, lighting, outlets, grounding, and lightning protection systems (SPDA). * Produce specifications, technical reports, material lists (MTO/BOQ), schedules, and data-books; coordinate with mechanical, instrumentation, automation, and civil disciplines. * Ensure compliance with applicable standards and client requirements (ABNT/NBR 5410, 14039, NR-10/12/35, IEC, ISA, Petrobras/Transpetro standards, when applicable). **Field supervision** * Monitor execution, verify RDOs/measurement records, as-built documentation, and installation quality (cables, trays, panels, motors, VFDs/soft-starters, MCCs, lighting, grounding, SPDA). * Identify and address non-conformities; guide corrective actions and validate rework. **Commissioning and testing** * Plan and conduct tests: continuity/insulation, hi-pot, torqueing, loop-check, functional tests/interlocks, protection tests, and start-ups. * Support safe energization and handover for operation, with complete documentation. **Risk management and HSE** * Conduct JSA/PTW, implement LOTO, assess electrical and arc flash risks; ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with NRs. * Audit behaviors and conditions; record, communicate, and immediately report critical deviations to SUPERVISION; promote safety talks (DDS) and lessons learned. **Client interface and scope management** * Align requirements, respond to RFIs/RFCs, participate in technical and progress meetings. * Support measurement, scheduling, and scope changes related to the electrical discipline. **Quality and deliverables** * Standardize, review, and ensure document traceability. * Consolidate technical reports, photographic records, test reports, and final data-book.
