Description
The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, organization, standardization, and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and housekeeping-related services, thereby delivering an excellent guest experience in compliance with the hotel's quality and hospitality standards.
Responsibilities:
* Manage housekeeping processes and team to ensure guest well-being.
* Provide daily guidance to the team regarding activity priorities for check-out and room cleaning procedures.
* Ensure replenishment, control, and organization of inventory for materials, utensils, and linens used.
* Ensure cleanliness of the property's public areas.
* Conduct periodic inspections of housekeeping carts and floor pantries.
* Conduct periodic inspections throughout the property, including public areas such as the lobby, pool, and gym.
* Ensure internal and external cleaning and housekeeping activities are performed, and that the team adheres to checklists and schedules.
* Prepare the monthly work schedule for the team under supervision, as well as vacation planning, meetings, training sessions, feedback, and performance evaluations with the team.
* Inspect building infrastructure and maintain it according to established standards and procedures in coordination with the maintenance department.
* Control the entry and exit of laundry items, monitor washing and ironing quality, and ensure that incoming and outgoing logs are properly maintained.
* Verify monthly cost reports submitted by the laundry department.
* Conduct periodic inventories of housekeeping linens and utensils.
* Manage guest lost-and-found items: tag, log, and store securely.
* Ensure training and development of the team under responsibility.
* Control housekeepers' keys according to their assigned floors.
* Analyze housekeepers' productivity.
* Perform on-duty shifts according to the leadership rotation schedule.
