




Description: * Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering; * Specialization in mine planning is desirable; * Proficiency in mine planning software and Microsoft Office suite; * Advanced English proficiency is desirable; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Deswik Sched, Blend, and LHS software; * Prior experience in mining operations planning. * Provide technical support to junior and mid-level engineers, promoting team capacity building and professional development; * Develop and review quarterly mining plans, forecasts, and budgets; * Supervise and analyze planning performance indicators, such as plan adherence index and plan execution rate; * Ensure proper sequencing of waste and oxidized ore stockpiles; * Plan, discuss, and monitor results of mining plans with short-term planning, geology, and mine operations teams; * Support and prepare technical reports for the area, including Reserve Reassessment Reports, Economic Exploitation Plans (PAE), Annual Mining Reports (RAL), among others; * Conduct benchmarking and propose actions for continuous improvement of performance indicators; * Perform technical and economic feasibility studies for projects, identifying potential opportunities; * Participate in the budgeting cycle and strategic planning process, defining assumptions and key performance indicators; * Determine fleet sizing for mining plans; * Comply with Safety and Health, Environmental, and Social Responsibility policies and procedures; * Lead continuous improvement projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and established quality standards; * Be responsible for consolidating the technical assumptions that will guide all technical work throughout the annual short- and medium-term planning cycle. * Identify, assess, and mitigate operational, environmental, and safety risks associated with mine operations during mining plan development. * Evaluate and implement new technologies and sustainable practices to optimize operations and reduce environmental impacts. * Develop and test mining plan scenarios for unforeseen situations, such as equipment failures, mining constraints, and limitations in feed supply to the processing plant. 251221020255513566
