Job Summary: Nutrition internship to support dietitians in planning and implementing diets, counseling patients, and managing information. Key Highlights: 1. Support in establishing types of diets and updating meal maps. 2. Participation in defining nutritional protocols and dietary counseling. 3. Assistance in patient screening and in the training program. Description: * Currently enrolled in Nutrition program from the 5th semester onward; * Prior experience in the field is a plus. * Assist the dietitian in establishing types of diets by reviewing medical records and laboratory test results, observing physician prescriptions, considering clinical data and personal preferences, performing dietary calculations, consulting food composition tables, and drawing necessary conclusions for developing diet plans under the supervision of the unit's dietitian; * Assist the dietitian in updating meal maps by removing discharged patients, verifying records, noting admissions of new patients, visiting clients, analyzing nutritional deficiencies, modifying diets, and scheduling meals for examinations or surgeries under the supervision of the unit's dietitian; * Assist the dietitian in defining nutritional protocols for patients with renal disease, cardiovascular conditions, diabetes, and other cases by reviewing laboratory test results, reassessing dietary intake and nutritional requirements according to clinical history, and adapting or altering eating habits under the supervision of the unit's dietitian; * Assist the dietitian in providing dietary counseling to patients upon hospital discharge by evaluating nutritional status, providing printed materials, explaining meal timing and permitted foods, to contribute to overall nutritional improvement; * Assist the dietitian in conducting screening of newly admitted patients by recording data on designated forms, performing Subjective Global Assessment when necessary, and registering patients in the appropriate nutritional care program under the supervision of the unit's dietitian; * Participate in the dietitians' training program. 2512190202551444811
