Description

Job Summary: Load and unload goods, handle and deliver them to customers, following guidelines and optimizing processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Cargo handling and delivery 2. Verification of invoices and cargo weight 3. Maintenance of warehouse organization and cleanliness Perform loading and unloading of goods. Move goods from disembarkation and embarkation terminals, adhering to guidelines for each type of cargo, volume, and vehicle. Deliver and collect cargo from end customers. * Verify invoices; * Check cargo weight; * Verify cargo prior to handling; * Reapply sealing tape to packaging when necessary; * Inspect storage conditions and proper packaging of cargo; * Verify volume identification labels; * Arrange deliveries according to schedule; * Sort cargo by destination; * Verify labels for hazardous goods; * Optimize loading and unloading time; * Advise customers on proper cargo packaging; * Follow packaging recommendations; * Control stacking limits for boxes; * Request authorization for loading special cargo; * Palletize and wrap cargo in bulk as per customer requirements; * Maintain warehouse cleanliness and proper organization; * Report any defective equipment; * Handle pallets correctly to prevent accidents and damage; * Perform other duties relevant to the position.
