If you are an internal candidate (#E), apply via Eaton Jobs (Intranet > Joe > EatonJobs) **What you’ll do:** ------------------- **PRIMARY FUNCTION:** * Analyzes, plans, and controls procurement activities for domestic/imported materials (Make&Buy) at the Caxias do Sul unit, ensuring inventory levels and customer delivery performance as defined in the VGSA strategy, thereby supporting the company’s financial plan. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** Generates purchase demand for domestic materials for the Caxias do Sul unit to ensure uninterrupted fulfillment of customer requirements—whether for assembly lines, spare parts, or Aftermarket—without negative impact. Daily analysis of item status against min/max and shortage reports, delivery forecasts, and proactive communication with internal customers regarding critical items. Monitors supplier delivery performance and intervenes, as needed and with sufficient lead time, to allow implementation of contingency plans. Explores all available alternatives to meet customer demand (assembly lines, spare parts, aftermarket, etc.) under both normal and crisis conditions (e.g., sourcing parts locally, substituting with similar items, identifying alternative sources, etc). Defines and enters system parameters directly impacting inventory and/or operational fulfillment (e.g., Safety Stock, Lead Time, grouping, and minimum/maximum levels). Identifies, monitors, and supports necessary actions for slow-moving inventory (excess and obsolete) and/or inventory with quality issues. Analyzes, monitors, and forecasts inventory levels to support execution of sales and financial plans. Develops and implements inventory reduction plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams. **Specialized Knowledge:** -------------------------- **Education and Skills Required for the Position:** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, or related fields. * Experience in **materials planning** and/or **capacity analysis**. * Demonstrated **solid knowledge of materials management**. * Proficiency in **Microsoft Office Suite**, applied to analysis, control, and reporting. * Familiarity with **Power BI**, including **dashboard development** and **data extraction** for KPI tracking. * **Intermediate-level English**, sufficient to participate in meetings and projects. * Teamwork; * Collaborative style; * Excellent oral and written communication; **Additional Specialized Knowledge (not mandatory):** * Knowledge of Oracle or similar systems; * Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma tools (VSM, 5S, Continuous Flow, Standard Work, Poka-Yoke, Set-up, TPM); * Knowledge of process mapping methodology; * Understanding of serial manufacturing and production processes; * APICS certification. #LI-RS6
