Prevention and resolution of unforeseen incidents. **Position: Cargo Programmer / Logistics Programmer** **Job Mission** Plan, schedule, and control cargo and vehicles for both owned and affiliated fleets, ensuring route optimization, on-time delivery, and reduction of operational costs, while aligning commercial, operational, and legal requirements. **Main Responsibilities** * Receive and analyze transportation orders, defining priorities and deadlines. * Schedule cargo based on fleet and driver availability. * Develop and adjust routes considering distance, time, legal restrictions, and costs. * Ensure compliance with driver shift legislation (Driver’s Law). * Monitor trip status and make necessary adjustments to the schedule. * Maintain contact with drivers to coordinate itineraries, schedules, and changes. * Record and update information in the logistics management system. * Analyze performance indicators (on-time deliveries, vehicle utilization, costs). * Interact with commercial and operational departments to align requirements and deadlines. * Prevent and resolve unforeseen incidents such as delays, breakdowns, and vehicle unavailability. **Requirements** * Technical or higher education degree in Logistics, Administration, or related fields is preferred. * Prior experience in cargo scheduling, logistics, or transportation. * Knowledge of logistics management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office suite. * Familiarity with transportation regulations and driver working-hour legislation. * Ability to read and interpret maps and route plans. * Availability to work flexible hours according to operational demand. **Technical Competencies** * Cargo planning and organization. * Driver shift control. * Cost analysis and route optimization. * Information management in TMS. * Clear and concise communication. **Behavioral Competencies** * **Attention to detail:** avoid errors in scheduling and deadline adherence. * **Agility in decision-making:** respond rapidly to unforeseen events. * **Working under pressure:** maintain performance even in critical situations. * **Communication and relationship-building:** effective interaction with drivers, customers, and team members. * **Proactivity:** anticipate problems and seek solutions. * **Flexibility:** adapt to operational changes.
