Key Responsibilities: * Act as the direct link between planning and execution, ensuring compliance with defined mining fronts, quotas, and sequences. * Interface with quality control, mine dispatch (Fast2Mine), and logistics to ensure optimal equipment allocation. * Monitor operations in real time, tracking equipment status, working face conditions, ore quality, and adherence to procedures. * Support operational risk management, particularly during deviations or critical conditions. * Contribute to achieving safety, productivity, and loss control targets by providing technical guidance for shift routines. * Interact with departments such as planning, geotechnics, maintenance, processing, geology, infrastructure, and quality control. * Ensure traceability of operational decisions and collect data to feed back into planning and continuous improvement. * Provide instructions to contracted team leaders, ensuring safe and productive operations. Responsibilities and Duties * Provide technical supervision of mine operations during shifts, ensuring alignment with production, safety, and quality targets. * Act as a bridge between planning and execution, ensuring compliance with mining fronts, quotas, and sequences. * Monitor in real time equipment positioning and utilization, face conditions, and ore quality. * Coordinate with related departments (planning, geotechnics, dispatch, maintenance, processing, geology, infrastructure, quality control, and contractors) to ensure integrated operations. * Support operational risk management by making quick and accurate decisions during deviations. * Deliver field technical instructions to both internal and contracted teams, promoting safe and productive operations. * Ensure traceability of operational decisions and collect data to support planning refinement and continuous improvement. * Contribute to achieving performance indicators (KPIs), productivity goals, and mine loss control. Requirements and Qualifications * Technical degree in Mining or related fields. * Active registration with CREA. * Minimum of 4 years of experience in mining operations (preferably open-pit mining). * Knowledge of occupational safety standards and applicable environmental regulations. * Experience in drilling, blasting, and technical monitoring of mining fronts. 2511010202241781595
