Come be part of our team as a **Mid-Level Geotechnical Engineer!** **Responsibilities:** * Ensure compliance with legal requirements of Law No. 12,334/2010, ANM Resolution 220, State Law No. 23,291/2019, FEAM Ordinance No. 699/2023, State Decree No. 48,140/2021, and ABNT technical standards (NBR 13028, NBR 13029). * Manage independent technical audits, including monitoring and preparation of reports, action plans, and schedules. * Monitor the preparation and revision of documents required by PSB, such as PAEBM, RPSB, PGRBM, and periodic ANM and FEAM safety reviews. * Elaborate and review documents required by PSB and PESB, such as PAEBM, PGRBM, RIS (Semiannual Inspection Report), and RTSB (Technical Dam Safety Report). * Interpret geotechnical instrumentation data from dams and piles (surface markers, piezometers, INAs, etc.), proposing corrective and preventive measures. * Monitor technical audits in geotechnical structures. * Provide technical support for decommissioning processes of structures according to current legislation. * Represent the company technically before regulatory agencies, independent audits, and specialized consulting firms. * Monitor the development of projects related to piles and dams in the disciplines of Geotechnics, Geology, Hydrology, and Hydraulics. * Monitor the development of failure studies in dams and piles (tailings and waste rock). * Monitor geotechnical investigation plans. * Monitor the implementation of global tailings management standards (GISTM and TSM). * Manage contracts related to their responsibilities, ensuring compliance with deadlines, scope, and quality of deliverables. **Advantageous Skills:** * Knowledge of federal and state legislation and standards applicable to geotechnical structures, dams, piles, and pits. * Preparation and review of PSB documents. * Regular inspection reports and RTSB. * Field and laboratory geotechnical testing. * Instrumentation and monitoring of geotechnical structures. * Stability analysis software. * AutoCAD. * Design of piles and dams (tailings and waste rock). * Application of GISTM and TSM. **Soft Skills** * Attention to detail; * Information analysis; * Commitment to quality; * Dedication. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or Geology. * Postgraduate degree in Geotechnics. * FEL methodology. * Knowledge of geotechnical modeling and stability assessment software. * Intermediate to advanced English proficiency. **Location: Belo Horizonte**
