Come be part of our team as: **EXPLORATION GEOLOGIST PL - ITABIRITO** **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform systematic logging of drill core samples, focusing on lithological, structural, and mineralogical characterization; * Prepare geological cross-sections and conduct basic 3D geological modeling to support interpretation of mineralized bodies; * Conduct regional and detailed geological mapping campaigns, applying geological-structural mapping techniques; * Occasionally supervise geological mapping, sampling, and drilling activities in underground mining environments, providing technical observations and field team support; * Integrate and interpret geological, geochemical, and geophysical data with focus on orogenic-type gold mineralization systems; * Create geological and thematic maps within a GIS environment, integrating multiple spatial data layers to support decision-making; * Use specialized software for multivariate geochemical interpretation and statistical analysis of sampling data; * Apply basic knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning to assist in exploration target vectoring and pattern recognition in large volumes of geoscientific data; * Build, organize, and maintain geological and geochemical databases, ensuring data quality, consistency, and traceability; * Lead teams of technicians and assistants in trench, soil, rock, and channel sampling activities, ensuring compliance with protocols and production targets; * Prepare technical reports and periodic presentations to communicate project results and progress clearly, objectively, and with solid technical foundation; * Demonstrate a collaborative attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, contributing to the technical and strategic advancement of exploration projects. **Required Qualifications:** Completed degree in Geology or Geological Engineering Over 5 years of experience in the role Proficiency with software such as Leapfrog, ioGAS, and GIS systems (ArcGIS/QGIS/Discover) Intermediate English proficiency **Desired Qualifications:** \- Valid driver's license: Category B - 4x4 * A Master’s degree in regional, structural, or economic geology will be an advantage.
