Key Responsibilities:* Organize the work area, tools, and components * Support equipment assembly and disassembly * Perform cleaning and preparation of components and pipes * Assist linings technicians in rubber preparation activities * Safely handle and transport materials * Execute housekeeping, STAR, and Lean practices * Follow procedures and contribute to improvements * Maintain full focus on safety. * Safety first: demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero-accident behaviors in support of our effort to develop a world-class safety culture Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:* Completed high school education * Relevant experience for the role, and willingness to learn and perform diverse tasks * Basic knowledge of mechanics or metrology (desirable) * Proficiency with hand and power tools * Organization, proactivity, and attention to quality * Basic Office software skills Founded in 1871, Weir Group is a global leader in mining technology, committed to making mineral operations more sustainable, intelligent, and efficient.
