Conducting electrical tests on motors, transformers, and circuit breakers. **Job Description – Electrical Technical Assistant** We are seeking an **Electrical Technical Assistant** to support maintenance, electrical testing, and operation of equipment and instruments used in the factory. The professional must comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and internal procedures, contributing to operational reliability and departmental organization. **Responsibilities** * Strictly adhere to **Quality Management** guidelines and the company’s **Code of Conduct**. * Correctly use **PPE and Engineering Controls**, following applicable safety norms and procedures for the position. * Maintain departmental and equipment organization per the **5S Program**, safeguarding company assets. * Ensure proper preservation of work instruments, requesting maintenance and calibration as necessary. * Perform tasks in accordance with company-provided training, instructions, and established procedures. * Meet production planning requirements, following cell reports and team leader instructions. * Immediately report any failures identified during task execution for leader analysis. * Record maintenance information in the **FAS** system and request **NCRs** whenever applicable. * Undertake business travel when required. **Technical Activities** **Maintenance and Operations** * Assist in executing **preventive and corrective maintenance** of factory equipment. * Assist in operating, using, and performing preventive/corrective maintenance on the **test bench**. **Measuring Instruments** Support handling of various instruments, including: * Clamp-on wattmeter, dielectric strength analyzer, clamp ammeter, hipot tester, saturation curve indicator, power factor meter, megohmmeter, micro-ohmmeter, triple-time meter, caliper, thermo-hygrometer clock, phase sequence meter, oscilloscope, surge tester, tachometer, earth resistance tester, infrared thermometer, turns ratio tester, vibration meter (measurements and software). **Electrical Tests** On Motors: * Insulation resistance, ohmic resistance, surge test, hipot test, loaded test, no-load test, loop test, voltage drop, overspeed, overshot, corona effect, impedance, squirrel-cage rotor armature test, rotating magnetic field, transformation reaction, polarity test, commutator eccentricity, and neutral line test. On Transformers: * Insulation resistance, ohmic resistance, short-circuit test, insulation power factor, turns ratio, load losses, impedance, leak-tightness, and accessory tests. On Circuit Breakers: * Insulation resistance, ohmic resistance, and oscillography. **Measurement Finishing** * Perform final finishing of the measurement stage, including sensors and cables. **Requirements** **Education** * **Preferred:** Technical Course in Electrotechnology / Electronics / Mechatronics. * **Minimum:** Currently enrolled in a Technical Course in Electrotechnology / Electronics / Mechatronics. **Experience** * **Preferred:** 6 months of experience. **Skills** * **Preferred:** Attention to detail, responsibility, and cooperation.
