Negotiates payment terms and applies interest and penalty policies Position: Collections Assistant - Job Description The Collections Assistant will be responsible for the company's credit recovery, conducting active collections via telephone, email, and WhatsApp, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon deadlines and reducing delinquency. This role requires a firm attitude, clear communication, and confidence to conduct negotiations, including situations where extensions, interest waivers, or penalty waivers must be denied per internal policy. Main Responsibilities * Conduct active collections via telephone (primary channel of operation) * Send and follow up on collection notices via email and WhatsApp * Negotiate payment terms in accordance with company guidelines * Apply interest and penalty policies when necessary * Record contacts and agreements in the system * Monitor the portfolio of delinquent customers * Generate collection tracking reports * Maintain professional demeanor even in conflict situations Requirements * Completed high school education (college degree is a plus) * Prior experience in collections or customer service via phone * Strong verbal communication skills * Confidence in making active collection calls * Basic computer literacy Behavioral Competencies * Proactivity * Strong communication and argumentation skills * Quick reasoning * Organization * Stress tolerance * Firmness and professional demeanor * Resilience Compensation and Benefits (To be specified per company policy) Working Hours 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Employment Type: Full-time CLT Salary: R$1\.689,68 \- R$1\.854,00 per month Benefits: * Medical assistance * Dental assistance * Fuel allowance * Education allowance * Life insurance * Meal voucher * Transportation voucher Work Location: On-site
