The internship will take place at Santa Casa BH, where the intern will carry out activities for the Healthcare-Associated Infection Control Service, receiving support from reference nurses to perform tasks including: active surveillance for infections, preparation of reports, guidance on precautions and isolation measures, training sessions, technical visits, article discussions, and other related duties. **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. **Stipend:** R$ 1,000.00 **Benefits:** * Transportation allowance * Life insurance **Responsibilities and Duties** * Review laboratory results daily and implement necessary preventive measures to curb the spread of multidrug-resistant or epidemiologically significant bacteria reported by the laboratory; * Conduct active surveillance for potential cases of HAIs (Healthcare-Associated Infections); * Detect and intervene in possible outbreak situations; * Conduct audits; * Carry out and participate in multidisciplinary bed rounds; * Develop documentation; * Deliver training sessions. **Requirements and Qualifications** Course(s): Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Nursing program Term(s): Currently enrolled between the 4th and 7th semester.
