




**Description:** **WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:** Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related fields; Advanced English proficiency will be considered a plus; **Proficiency in Office Suite:** Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Experience leading teams in industrial maintenance; TPM methodology experience is essential; Willingness to reside in Saquarema/MG or surrounding region. **WHAT YOU WILL DO:** Seek improvements in maintenance execution plans and processes by coordinating mechanical, electrical, electronic, and building maintenance activities with continuous interface with internal customers; Improve reliability performance indicators through optimization of manpower, resource availability, and planning of all Maintenance actions; Propose improvements to reduce electricity consumption, enhance utility performance indicators, support technical team and leadership in compliance with NR10 and NR13 regulations, ensure preventive maintenance plans for substations and boilers are executed, and support the team during shutdowns and restarts involving utility interruptions (gas and electricity), ensuring compliance with Smurfit Westrock safety measures and NR standards; Ensure asset preservation through alignment with internal and external standards, manufacturer technical information, and best practices in technological markets; Promote technological updates and market trends, contributing to the development of the site’s strategic plan and implementation of operational excellence initiatives; Report and act upon any unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and incidents regardless of potential impact; Ensure profitability through maintenance cost management; Ensure that the team properly locks out machines (LOTO) during interventions using locks and tags; Identify opportunities to standardize high-risk activities performed by maintenance/operations (AST); Ensure proper storage, conservation, and efficiency of equipment, tools, instruments, and materials used, reporting any abnormalities observed to immediate supervisor; Follow safety rules and procedures and take responsibility for employee safety during your shift, guiding them during work execution, conducting periodic workplace audits, and mitigating identified issues through action plans; Manage the work team by selecting, guiding, training, monitoring performance, providing feedback, disseminating and enforcing company-related procedures and norms, work processes, and implemented management systems, as well as engaging in other people management matters; Perform other related duties and follow work process procedures as required. 2511100202181860811
