**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:** Someone to join our Logistics team, working on-site in Saquarema/RJ. This person will be responsible for leading the PCP, SAC, and Dispatch teams, supporting the execution of activities and established processes within these areas. **Responsibilities and Duties** **WHAT YOU WILL DO:** * Ensure that the workplace and activities performed by employees and third parties comply with the company's established safety standards, always aiming for zero accidents. Additionally, must ensure routine organization and cleanliness throughout the entire dispatch area; * Responsible for Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), with authority to ensure compliance with company requirements in their work areas and among subordinates, including identifying and implementing actions that promote continuous improvement in line with Smurfit WestRock’s policies; * Analyze complaints from external and internal customers related to service and deliveries, addressing root causes to prevent recurrence; * Conduct regular meetings with direct and indirect subordinates to ensure operational performance and continuous improvement — as well as active and effective communication; * Plan storage and transportation operations to improve processes and layout, ensuring maximum efficiency in loading and unloading times; * Manage departmental KPIs (safety, service, quality, and cost), driving continuous improvement in processes and activities related to dispatch, billing, and inventory control; * Maintain constant contact with production and transportation teams, arranging advance scheduling to avoid shortages of trucks and storage space for finished products; * Supervise and ensure the proper maintenance condition of dispatch forklifts, operational facilities, offices, and other assets under their responsibility; * Manage and conduct inventory of finished goods, ensuring data accuracy to enable efficient and reliable loading processes; * Supervise the work team, including selection, guidance, training, performance monitoring, evaluation, feedback, dissemination, and enforcement of company procedures, work processes, and implemented management systems, as well as engaging in other people management matters; * Develop individual development plans for team members, aiming to build a high-performance team ready for succession roles, while keeping the team engaged and growing, thus delivering the best possible service to our customers; * Responsible for developing and evaluating strategic projects related to operational expansion, capex, safety, quality, software implementation, among others; * Ensure employees adhere to our values and behaviors in everything they do — must be a role model and multiplier; * Ensure efficient and consistent communication across all shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd), aligning everyone with operational and strategic processes; * Monitor production plan execution together with the Supply Chain Manager, communicating status to interfacing departments, identifying potential deviations (via system data and performance indicators), proposing and implementing corrective actions, and informing responsible parties; * Support the production planning process, including scheduling and sequencing, considering external extensions (outsourced manufacturing), including creating purchase requisitions for manufactured materials; * Ensure accurate recording of production data; whenever discrepancies or improvement opportunities are identified, define and implement necessary action plans; * Responsible for updating dashboards and closing departmental KPIs; * Participate, as needed, in improvement projects and new product initiatives from the unit or corporate Supply Chain Planning area; * Interact with Corrugators, CS, Logistics, Conversion, Industrializer, and HR departments on production priorities, considering both internal and external customer perspectives; * Responsible for adherence to Health and Safety programs, promoting and encouraging team members and colleagues to support these initiatives, being personally accountable for their own safety and that of coworkers, and recognized for active involvement, while understanding that personal commitment is essential; * Comply with all company policies, procedures, work process rules, and implemented management systems. * Perform other related duties and follow work process procedures as required. **Requirements and Qualifications** **WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:** * Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Production Engineering, or related fields; * Postgraduate degree/MBA in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related areas; * Advanced English will be considered a plus; * Intermediate Excel skills; * Experience and knowledge in industrial or logistics environments, with team leadership; * Knowledge of 5S and Lean methodologies and tools is desirable; * ERP SAP system knowledge. **Additional Information** **Smurfit Westrock**, a global leader in sustainable paper and packaging, operates in 40 countries with over 500 packaging conversion operations and 62 paper mills.
