Refrigeration Technician

*Description of activities to be performed* 1) Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on refrigeration equipment, including air conditioning units and their general components—such as compressors, electric motors, heating systems, humidification and dehumidification systems, ventilation and exhaust systems—in accordance with safety and quality standards; 2) Respond to air conditioning installation requests by inspecting the site and assessing existing requirements to appropriately select and size the equipment; 3) Carry out work on power control and protection panels; 4) Assemble air conditioning systems; 5) Train and guide refrigeration technical assistants and interns; 6) Prepare specifications for purchasing materials with specific functions and qualities; 7) Ensure individual and collective safety by using appropriate personal protective equipment during service execution; 8) Maintain custody, preservation, maintenance, and cleanliness of used equipment, instruments, materials, and the workplace; 9) Perform other related tasks as required or at the discretion of the supervisor; 10) Document procedures; 11) Use the company’s management software and all technological tools provided.
