Forging Assistant - Second Shift

Job Summary: Operate low-complexity conventional machines and processes, including shot blasting; identify non-conforming parts; and monitor productivity. Key Highlights: 1. Operate low-complexity machines and manual processes 2. Maintain inventory organization and a safe workplace 3. Conduct shot blasting operations Availability to work the second shift. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, from 2:30 PM to 10:42 PM (30-minute break); alternating Saturdays, from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Responsibilities: * Conduct operations of low-complexity conventional machines and manual processes. * Operate shot blasting equipment according to work instructions. * Identify and segregate non-conforming parts generated at the workstation. * Monitor productivity and quantity of parts produced on machines per Work Order (WO); complete inspection record forms on the back of the WO. * Remove burrs from forged parts. * Maintain organization of the inventory of forged, cast, and sawn parts. * Contribute to workplace organization and cleanliness by using PPE and promoting a safe environment.
